The Inbetween Spaces

A collaboration between artist group MOTHER - Laura Navndrup, Wendy Erickson, Chemaine Cooke - artist Tanya Axford and myself.

My first real collaboration as a sound artist; I used prerecorded and live voice, cardboard boxes, pingpong balls and cassette tape - as both a sound source and a playback media.

For this project I modified battery powered cassette players and radios with kids walkie-talkies and radio transmitters to allow prerecorded sounds to be moved around by the performers and be mixed physically with the individual architecture of each of the performance spaces.
