Taking Space #2 - Kulturnat 2013
Taking Space is an ongoing site specific research and performance series. Each event is created specifically for the location chosen, aiming to bring out the buildings and its surrounding magical and surreal potential through vertical dance and stage arts.
Each Taking Space is unique and is a collaboration between a different group of artists chosen to participate in the event.
The series functions as an ongoing lab, where vertical dance techniques are developed from one event to the other and become more and more diverse and fantastic.
In this incarnation of Taking Space, I designed sound for the site specific performance that took place on the walls of Maskincentralen at Carlsberg Byen in Copenhagen as part of the annual Kulturnat.
This was a collaboration between Dancers and Choreographers Esther Wrobel & Mette Overgaard, Visual Artist Sam Moore and myself.
